Pennsauken’s Falco Caruso and Leonard Funeral Home recently hosted the “Shred the Love for Pets in Need” event.

On May 17, Falco Caruso and Leonard Funeral Home in Pennsauken hosted “Shred the Love for Pets in Need.” This event was to help neighbors do some spring cleaning by destroying their old documents in a safe matter, courtesy of Polar Shredding. Everyone who attended was asked to bring a new pet item to be donated to Puppies and More Rescue of Marlton, NJ. In addition, many dogs were adopted to their forever homes.

Special thanks to Brian Creitz, owner of Pennsauken’s Penn Florist, who donated his time and gave generously of food, water, and pet monuments; Sue Coffey and her family provided homemade dog scarves; Network DJs and CC Entertainment provided great music at the event; and Brother Carl from St. Anthony Padua Church, who said a blessing of all the animals.
