Local Student Named To Honor Roll

People_ResidentMakesHonorRoTalley Morton, daughter of Janice Talley of Pennsauken, has been named to the honor roll at Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh, N.C., where she is a rising senior. Miss Morton was also inducted into the Saint Mary’s Chapter of the National Honor Society, which honors “those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character.”

To be eligible for the honor roll, a student must maintain a weighed grade point average of 3.5 of higher in at least five academic courses, while maintaining the status of a student in good standing with the Judicial Board and administration.

Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh, N.C., is an independent, Episcopal, college-preparatory, boarding and day school dedicated to academic excellence and personal achievement for girls in grades 9-12. Founded in 1842, Saint Mary’s is the fourth-oldest all-girls boarding/day school in the nation.
