Mark your calendars! An evening of lights, local heroes, and a visit from Santa is coming to Pennsauken.
The Township’s first-ever Parade of Lights will be held on Friday, Dec. 15 at 7:00 p.m. Fire trucks and emergency service vehicles will be decorated with bright lights and festive decorations as they ride along Browning Rd. from Witherspoon to Maple Ave. In addition, Santa Claus is sure to make an appearance, riding a fire engine at the end of the parade, which should take roughly an hour from start to finish.
“This has all the makings of a great holiday event,” says Bill Orth, Pennsauken Township Committee. “We hope that the entire Pennsauken community joins us for this special holiday celebration in the Bloomfield section of town.”
More information on this event will be available at the Township website, twp.pennsauken.nj.us, closer to the holidays.
