Pennsauken Police Confiscate Heroin, Make Arrest During Raid

On November 16, 2016, the Pennsauken Township Police Department and the Camden County Sheriff’s Department Entry Team executed a search warrant on the 5500 block of Wayne Avenue. Confiscated from the raid was over 5 ½ pounds of heroin with a street value of over $250,000. Arrested was a Dennis Burdie, 37 years old, of Wayne Avenue, Pennsauken.
Burdie was charged with various drug offenses and was remanded to the Camden County Jail. The search warrant was the result of a long term joint investigation with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Suburban Narcotics Unit, the Maple Shade Police Department and the Merchantville Police Department.
