Local Children Can Nominate The Best Mom, Dad or Guardian In Town

Once again, Pennsauken children have a chance to put a spotlight on the special people in their lives.

An annual contest, children in grades three through eight living in Pennsauken can nominate their mom, dad, or guardian as the “best in town.” Participating students are still required to write a creative letter as part of their nomination, but starting this year, judges are encouraging kids to add a little extra.

Pennsauken’s Best Mom, Dad Or Guardian Contest Returns

Once again, Pennsauken children have a chance to put a spotlight on the special people in their lives.

An annual contest, children in grades three, four, and five living in Pennsauken may submit a letter saying why they believe their mom, dad, or guardian is the “best.” In addition, children participating in remote learning can nominate a loved one as the “best teacher at home.”

Kids Can Win Great Easter Prizes

All Around Pennsauken is partnering with the Penn Queen Diner for a special contest, just in time for Easter!

Local children ages 5 to 12 have a chance to win one of four Easter-themed baskets. They can also feed their sweet tooth by guessing how many chocolate kisses and peanut butter eggs are in glass jars. The child with the closest guest gets to win the jar… and the candy!

As you get ready to start hanging cobwebs, skeletons, and the like, there could be a reward for your efforts!

Win Free Dry Cleaning For Life With Perfect NCAA Tournament Bracket

Any Garment Cleaners, located at the Route 70 and 38 intersection in Pennsauken by Harbor Freight, is holding its annual NCAA March Madness Bracket Challenge. Participants who fill in their bracket online have the opportunity to win a variety of prizes, including free dry cleaning for life for a 100 percent perfect bracket.

The guaranteed prizes for the three highest scoring contestants are:

  • First place wins free dry cleaning on garments during the entire month of April 2017
  • Two runner-up will receive 99 cents per garment dry cleaning during the entire month of April 2017, with no limit to the number of pieces
  • For a perfect bracket, Any Garment Cleaners is offering free dry cleaning for life

Online brackets are due by Thursday March 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. One entry per person. Prizes for dry cleaning garments; not applicable for laundered shirts and other services.

Longfellow Elementary School Enters Recycling Contest To Win A New Playground
