Following a cooperative investigation, two men have been charged in connection to a shooting that occurred on June 30, 2022 in Pennsauken, announced Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Pennsauken Acting Police Chief Phil Olivo.

Detectives Seeking Public’s Assistance In Pennsauken Shooting

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Pennsauken Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual who was the victim of a shooting that occurred on May 3, 2019, at approximately 5:18 a.m. at the corner of Pleasant Avenue and 49th St. in Pennsauken.

Info On Last Night’s Fatal Shooting In Merchantville

From the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office:

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Merchantville Police Department reported a man was fatally shot in Merchantville last night.

Merchantville Police were dispatched at approximately 8:31 p.m. on Monday to the unit block of Russell Avenue for a report of an unconscious person. Officers arrived and located the victim, Joshua Simmons, 21, of Pennsauken, lying on the sidewalk. He was suffering from gunshot wounds and was transported to Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill, where he was pronounced deceased at 9:07 p.m.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
