Kids Can Win Great Easter Prizes

All Around Pennsauken is partnering with the Penn Queen Diner for a special contest, just in time for Easter!

Local children ages 5 to 12 have a chance to win one of four Easter-themed baskets. They can also feed their sweet tooth by guessing how many chocolate kisses and peanut butter eggs are in glass jars. The child with the closest guest gets to win the jar… and the candy!

As the Easter Bunny comes hopping down my street with basket in hand, my thoughts turn to all the lovely colors that Easter eggs can be dyed. Where do those colors come from? If you are looking for a healthier alternative to baskets filled with plastic eggs containing candy and chocolate bunnies, grab the kids and head for the kitchen.

Hop Down the Bunny Trail At Pennsauken’s Easter Egg Hunt

Pennsauken Township’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place Saturday, March 28 at the Walt Nicgorski Sports Complex, Powell and Collins avenues.

The event, sponsored by the Pennsauken Youth Action Committee and Kiddie Junction, begins at 10 a.m. The Easter Egg Hunt is open to children up to age 9.

There will be three separate egg hunts broken down by age groups.

Each hunt will feature six special golden eggs. A child that collects one of these golden eggs will win a free Easter gift basket donated by Kiddie Junction.

In addition, family members should bring their cameras to take free pictures with the Easter Bunny, who will be in attendance throughout the event.

Children should be at the sports complex no later than 9:45 a.m. Participants should bring a bag, basket, or other container to store their eggs.
