Pennsauken’s First Responders Holding “Battle Of The Badges” Blood Drive

Pennsauken’s police officers, firefighters, and EMTs are competing to recruit the most blood donors for an American Red Cross “Battle of the Badges” Blood Drive. The winning team gets bragging rights; but the whole community benefits by gaining life saving blood transfusions. Approximately 32,000 pints of blood are used each day in the United States. Just one pint of donated blood can help save as many as three people’s lives.

The blood drive will be held on Thursday, Jan. 24, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Pennsauken Country Club, 3800 Haddonfield Rd. Appointments are preferred; donors can sign up online by visiting RedCrossBlood.org and using the “Battle of the Badges” sponsor code. All donors will receive a “Battle of the Badges” t-shirt as a thank you.
