Toy And Collectible Street Fair Moved To Rain Date Of October 15
Play With This Toys & Collectibles and Merchantville Public Events are hosting a toy and collectible street fair on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Held along West Park Ave. in Merchantville, adjacent to the Borough Hall, the event showcases a variety of new and vintage toys, games, and collectibles for sale.
In addition, the toy and collectable street fair features food, special appearances from some superhero favorites, raffles and more. Attendees are also asked to bring non-perishable food items for the Food Bank of South Jersey. For every food item donated, individuals will receive one raffle ticket.
“We really hope folks come out for this great event,” says Scott Talas, owner of Play With This Toys & Collectibles. “Not only is it going to be a lot of fun, but we’re also helping out a great organization, the Food Bank of South Jersey.”

Hundreds Attend Third Pennsauken Job Fair

On Sept. 15, hundreds of people flowed in and out of Living Faith Christian Center for Pennsauken’s third annual job fair. And while the number of attendees was down from last year’s event, many qualified applicants impressed the almost two dozen local companies who were actively looking to hire.

Community Forum Discusses Issues Of Domestic Violence, Child Safety
The Camden County Board of Freeholders and Pennsauken Township, in conjunction with the Camden County Commission on Child Abuse and Missing Children, will be holding a “Safe Families, Safe Communities” forum on Thursday, Oct. 13. Held from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Temple Lutheran Church, 5600 Rt. 130 N., Pennsauken, the event provides the community an opportunity to discuss the issues of domestic violence and child safety.
