Community Invited To Lunar New Year Festival On January 28

Pennsauken High School’s Asian Students Association is sponsoring its annual Lunar New Year Festival on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., in the main cafeteria of the high school, 800 Hylton Rd.

The local community is invited to an evening of free food, games, raffles, entertainment, and prizes.

PEA Holds Second Annual MLK Day Of Service Event

On Monday, Jan. 21, the Pennsauken Education Association (PEA) will host its second annual Dr. Martin Luther King Day of Service event for the Pennsauken Community.

Pennsauken Township Committee Holds Reorganization Meeting On January 3

The Pennsauken Township Committee will hold its annual reorganization meeting on Friday, Jan. 3, 6:30 p.m., at the Pennsauken Country Club, 3800 Haddonfield Rd. The agenda includes the swearing in of a new mayor, deputy mayor, and committee members, as well as the appointments to various professional positions. The Township Committee will also set its meeting dates for 2020.

This reorganization meeting has been advertised in accordance with the “Senator Byron M. Baer Open Public Meetings Act.” This meeting is open to the public to attend.
