Pennsauken Township Announces Updated Trash/Recycling Collection Schedule
Earlier today, Pennsauken Township announced that there will be changes to the town’s trash and recycling collection because of Independence Day.
Per the Township website and social media posts, “Pennsauken Township has been informed that the Covanta Waste to Energy Facility will be closed on Monday, July 5. As there will be no place to send our collected trash and recycling, our vendor will not be picking up on Monday.”
This changes residential collection to the following schedule:
- Monday’s trash and recycling collection moves to Tuesday, July 6
- Tuesday’s trash and recycling collection moves to Wednesday, July 7
- Wednesday’s yard waste and white goods collection moves to Thursday, July 8
- Thursday’s trash and recycling collection moves to Friday, July 9
- Friday’s trash and recycling collection moves to Saturday, July 10
