Grace Episcopal Fall Fair Held October 29
Grace Episcopal Church, 7 E. Maple Ave., Merchantville, is holding a fall fair on Saturday, Oct. 29, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The event features a large basket and gift card raffle; attendees can buy tickets to win one of three great prizes: a $1,500 Wegmans gift card, a $500 Wawa gift card, and a $250 Burlington store gift card.
The Fall Fair also includes Santa’s gift shop, where children to buy affordable gifts for mom and dad; a running train display by the Cherry Valley Model Railroad; and great food, including delicious Spanish food from the kitchen, as well as bake goods and deli table; and more.
A Time for Giving: AFSCME Collecting Toys for St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital

The Pennsauken Public Works Department and AFSCME Local 2278 would like to welcome everyone to join us in donating for our yearly toy drive. We will be collecting new unwrapped toys for the boys and girls at St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital. All gifts will be hand delivered by council members of Local 2278 to the St. Christopher’s Pediatric Cancer wing.

Pennsauken Township’s annual Haunted Hayride will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 6:15 to 9:15 p.m. at the Pennsauken Country Club, 3800 Haddonfield Rd.

Pennsauken Township, in association with the Pennsauken Firefighters Association, will host its Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 15. This annual event, held from noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Pennsauken Community Recreation Complex on Westfield Ave., brings the Township community together with a family-friendly atmosphere.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Pennsauken Police department are investigating the shooting of a 17-year-old male in the 7500 block of Maple Avenue in Pennsauken on Saturday, October 8, 2022, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Pennsauken Acting Police Chief Phillip Olivo.

Makers of “America’s Favorite Sponge” and one of the most successful companies on the popular TV show “Shark Tank,” Scrub Daddy relocated its global headquarters to Pennsauken. Prior to the move, the company operated out of three separate buildings.
