Information from the Pennsauken Free Public Library

The Pennsauken Free Public Library is currently closed for the remainder of the summer, as our staff is working to make our big move next door!

During the following dates, library staff will be available to assist with general library questions via phone, email, chat, and Zoom: July 1-3; July 5, July 7-12.

The last day to return all items to the outside blue book drop is Saturday, July 5.

Drop in times are 10:00 a.m. to noon and 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. Zoom: tinyurl.com/askalib2025.

No staff will be available on Friday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day.

Off Site And Online Library Programs

Storytime in the Park (All Ages) – Every Tuesday in July; 10:30 a.m. Storytime in the Park is back this summer at Collins Tract Park! Join us for fun-filled mornings with stories, songs, rhymes, and multilingual moments—plus surprise visits from special guests! It’s a great way for young children and families to enjoy the outdoors, build early literacy skills, and share magical memories together.  Bring a chair or blanket to sit on. No registration required.  In case of bad weather, please check the library’s social media for cancellation notices. 

Graphic Novel Discussion (Teens and Adults) – 7/14; 6:00 p.m. Meeting virtually over the summer and discussing, Chris Gooch’s “In Utero.” Titles are available on Hoopla. Register for Zoom: http://tinyurl.com/pfplgndiscussion.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Open Play, Summer Winnings Edition – 7/24; 5:30 p.m. Attend a session for a chance to win a prize! Each attendance is another entry. Winners will be notified via mail on ACNH and prizes must be picked up at the Library. Add PFPL’s Nintendo Friend Code, SW-3902-1262-4235, visit your ACNH airport, and select “online play” to find us. Nintendo Online subscription, console, and game required for online play.
