A Reminder From Pennsauken’s Building Department About Smoke And Carbon Monoxide Detectors
Approved 10-year battery smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are now required for housing resale. They must have an approval by Underwriters Laboratories or a third party agency that tests to the Underwriters Laboratories standard. Detectors marked with a CE approval are not tested to the Underwriters standards and may not be used.
