A Very Sweet Dog Is Available For Adoption
By Judith Kristen, AAP Columnist
His name is Bruno.
This precious boy was surrendered to Pennsauken Animal Hospital and placed into the loving care of “Dr. Rippie’s Helping Paws,” located within the same building.
Bruno, approximately two and a half years old, and all of 42 pounds, arrived in critical condition, and was in immediate need of surgery to remove a foreign body from his intestines. Surgery took several hours, but thanks to an excellent medical team, along with the personal “will” of this darling boy, Bruno came through surgery with flying colors.
Naturally, his recovery took some time, but every day he showed progress, and he stabilized nicely. And, along with it, Bruno demonstrated a happy, loving, and kind disposition.
Almost four months have passed since Bruno’s surgery, and he has shown no red flags whatsoever. He gets along extremely well with all humans: young and old and everywhere in-between.
The surgery and recovery briefly took this young dog away from his “A” game, but he’s more than ready, willing, and able to become a wonderfully lovable and devoted companion to a new family who will give him the happily ever after that he so truly deserves.
If you are interested in adopting Bruno, please contact Dr. Rippie’s Helping Paws at (856) 663-4450 or apply at Pennsaukenvet.com/helping-paws.
