My brother has always said, “I haven’t met a cookie I didn’t like.” Can’t argue with that logic.
Since everybody and their Cousin Larry are making cookies this time of year, I thought it might be a good idea to find a way for people to share their favorite recipes online. So All Around Pennsauken is creating the first-ever Online Holiday Cookie Recipe Exchange.
Here’s how it works: fill out the form below with your favorite recipe and submit it to the web site. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, Dec. 16. Cookie recipes will be posted to AllAroundPennsauken.com on Friday, Dec. 18, just in time to get baking. I’ll also pick my favorite recipe submission and have my wife and baking aficionado, Donna, make a batch and highlight the recipe in an upcoming edition of All Around Pennsauken! It’s a win-win for everybody!
So if Grandma’s pizzelle recipe is top notch, Aunt Mildred’s molasses cookies are to die for, or your pal Aubrey has a no-bake refrigerator cookie that will knock your socks off, send them in! I will do my best to convince my mother to send in her recipe for chocolate chip cookies, which are so good, they’re actually illegal in 14 states.
Happy baking!
