Almost Home Animal Shelter Looks To Close Final Chapter On High Note
For over ten years, the Pennsauken-based Almost Home Animal Shelter has served our local community, providing refuge and medical assistance to orphaned animals waiting for their fur-ever home. With the ongoing transition to the Animal Welfare Society of Camden County as Pennsauken Township’s animal shelter, Almost Home is working to make sure that all of the dogs and cats currently in their care get adopted before the facility closes its doors for good.
“We still have dogs and cats left available for adoption,” says Nancy Welsh, who has run Almost Home since its inception. “These animals deserve loving homes; we hope that the local community can help us with our final chapter.”
Adoption fees are $150 for dogs, $65 for cats. Almost Home is also accepting financial donations to help pay for the animal’s medical care.
“The animals’ care is still our number one priority. We will continue to treat these beautiful orphans with the best medical care possible, providing warm beds, full tummies and good health.”
Almost Home Animal Shelter is located at 9140 C Pennsauken Highway, right off of Haddonfield Rd. (856) 663-3058.
