Annual Golf Fundraiser Benefits Veterans, First Responders

Over the past seven years, the Pennsauken Country Club Golf Association has raised well over $40,000 for local veteran organizations during its Labor Day weekend golf outing. This year, the event will be expanded to help first responders as well.

The organization’s 2024 fundraiser will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Pennsauken Country Club, 3800 Haddonfield Rd. Continental breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m., with a tee time of 9:00 a.m. The golf outing is open to non-members and consists of a two-person scramble in a team format. A portion of all entry fees will be donated to Fisher House, the Semper Fi Fund, Folds of Honor, the Philadelphia Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, and the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. In addition, a variety of sponsorships are available, and volunteers are needed to help on the day of the event.

The deadline for signup is Saturday, Aug. 24. For more information, contact Jim Kress at Jimkpccgolf@gmail.com.
