Any Garment Cleaners’ Holiday Wish List: 1,200 Pounds Of Food For Food Bank Of South Jersey
Any Garment Cleaners, with several South Jersey locations, including Pennsauken, is hosting its first holiday food drive and dreaming of a blizzard of donations for the Food Bank of South Jersey.
Now through Jan. 6, Any Garment Cleaners seeks to collect 1,200 pounds of non-perishable food to address hunger in South Jersey. Donations can be dropped off during store hours. High-need items include: canned fish/meat, peanut butter/nuts, beans, canned or dried fruit/vegetables, holiday items (stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, canned gravy and pie filling, instant potatoes), cereal, canned soups and stews, pasta, rice, and shelf-stable milk.
Micah Zwerling, founder of Any Garment Cleaners, says “There is unprecedented demand for the vital service the Food Bank provides, and we want to help meet the need right here in our communities.”
The Food Bank of South Jersey reports that 40 percent of current clients are seeking help for the first time.
Founded in 2001, Any Garment Cleaners proudly serves South Jersey with flat-rate, gender-neutral pricing for everyone and special HERO pricing for educators, police, firefighters, and military service members. The Pennsauken location can be found at Routes 73 and 38 in “The Point” Shopping Center. Hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
