BIG Council Of Pennsauken Prepares 2015-2016 Business Directory

Work is currently underway for the Business, Industry, and Government Council’s 2015-2016 Business Directory. Scheduled for completion in spring of next year, the directory, which highlights area businesses and organizations, will be mailed to residents and businesses throughout Pennsauken and Merchantville.

“We’re really excited to be able to put together our latest business directory,” says Tim Ellis, chairperson of the B.I.G. Council. “We’ve listened to the feedback from both businesses and residents, and we’re confident that this directory will be the best one yet.”

B.I.G. Business Directory-Info Sheet & Order Form_Page_1Several improvements have been made to the newest version of the business directory. Instead of a large compilation of companies, the directory will instead consist of paid listings and offer a specific section for local businesses that have purchased annual memberships with the B.I.G. Council. This new format will allow for listings that include more information about each business. Business categories will also be better defined so that users of the directory can more easily find what they’re looking for.

“This directory is more than just a book of listings,” adds Ellis. “You’ll be able to find out about some of the businesses that really give back to the community by being active members of the B.I.G. Council. The companies and organizations that you’ll find in this book support our town by sponsoring great events like the Pennsauken Car and Bike Show, the Harvest Festival, the Pennsauken Job Fair, the Holiday Parade, and the Angel Tree program. We hope that residents and businesses use the directory as an incentive to support local businesses that truly give back. We also hope that businesses see the work we’re doing and make the decision to join the B.I.G. Council to make our organization even bigger!”

The B.I.G. Council’s 2015-2016 Business Directory will be available both as a printed booklet and an online, sharable document, which will be posted to both the Township and B.I.G. Council’s web sites. Ad spaces and business listings for the directory are still available for purchase. For more information, visit BIGPennsauken.com.
