Camden Woman Charged With Felony Murder For January 2022 Fatal Shooting In Pennsauken

A 28-year-old Camden woman has been charged in the fatal shooting of a Pennsauken woman on January 9, 2022, announced Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Pennsauken Acting Police Chief Philip Olivo.

After thorough investigation, Iyonna Flowers, 28, of Camden, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Regional Task Force on September 28, 2022, and charged with Felony Murder in the death of 62-year-old Darlene Randall in Pennsauken on January 9, 2022. Flowers was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

On January 9, 2022, Pennsauken Police officers responded to the 3700 block of Herbert Avenue at approximately 1:52 a.m. for reports of a home invasion. Upon arrival, they located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. She succumbed to her injuries a short time later and was pronounced deceased at Cooper University Hospital.

On January 12, 2022, Joshua Johnson, 18, of Camden, was arrested in Newark, N.J., by the U.S. Marshals Regional Task Force and charged with Felony Murder and related weapons offenses. Johnson was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility where he remains detained.

All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
