Families Can Enjoy A Winter Wonderland At The Library

LibraryIt’s that time of year again, when we gather together to celebrate and enjoy holiday and family traditions held dear. The Pennsauken Free Public Library is here to help you with books, magazines, CDs, and DVDs for planning, preparing, and enjoying your holidays; from cookbooks and craft books to fiction and more.

Additionally, our children’s department invites you to join us for family fun at the Winter Wonderland Festivities on Saturday, Dec. 20 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., held in the children’s area of the Pennsauken Free Public Library. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there, along with the “Frozen” princesses, Elsa and Anna, as well as some elf friends. During the event, children will be able to make crafts for gift giving. So put us on your calendar and come on out to celebrate with us!

Book And Bake Sale Headlines Friends’ Fall Events

The Friends of the Pennsauken Free Public Library host its annual Book and Bake Sale Oct. 17-19, at the Pennsauken Library, 5605 N. Crescent Blvd., during regular library hours. And the name of the event really doesn’t do it justice these days. Sure, we have books: plenty of best sellers, mysteries, romance, children’s, biographies, crafts, and more. But what about the CDs, DVDs, BluRays, games, and other technical buys for those of you who want something more? They’re all a big part of our sale as well, lots of them, all at bargain prices along with all those books!
