Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance In Identifying Pennsauken Attempted Armed Robbery Suspect

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Pennsauken Township Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who attempted to commit an armed robbery at the Gulf Gas Station located at 1200 N. Route 73, Pennsauken, NJ 08110 on January 19, 2019 at approximately 8:54 p.m.

The unidentified adult male arrived on location at the Gulf Gas Station in a stolen gray 2012 four-door Toyota Camry with Pennsylvania Registration. The above listed vehicle was reported stolen out of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania on January 14, 2019, and has since been recovered.

The adult male suspect exited the front passenger’s side of the gray Toyota Camry and contacted the gas station attendant. The suspect demanded money from the gas station attendant and displayed a large silver handgun. The suspect fled the scene in the gray Toyota Camry prior to the suspect obtaining any money from the gas station attendant.

No one was injured during the incident.
