Eclipse Brewing To Hold Grand Opening

By Frank Sinatra, AAP Editor

Eclipse Brewing, located at 25 E. Park Ave. in Merchantville, is holding its grand opening weekend, Friday, Feb. 6 through Sunday, Feb. 8. The brewery gained a strong following for almost a decade under former owners Chris and Beth Mattern. Current owner and lifelong Pennsauken resident Megan Hilbert received approval to begin brewing early last month and is ready to welcome regulars and new customers alike.

“Mark your calendars, clear your schedules, and come celebrate with us,” wrote Hilbert online. “We can’t wait to celebrate with you and raise a glass to new beginnings!”

The official ribbon cutting will be held on Friday, Feb. 6 at 5:00 p.m., kicking off a weekend of celebrations. A different food truck will be on site each day: Keek’s Touch on Friday, Mary’s Mobile Diner on Saturday, and Not Your Mama’s Tacos on Sunday. The celebration will also feature desserts by both Suzy’s Sweets and Juliet’s; hand-made jewelry and décor from Sun in Scorpio; and family fun with Luna Larée Face Painting. Eclipse will have the big game on their TVs that Sunday.

“This weekend is all about community, collaboration, and great vibes,” added Hilbert. “Thank you to every vendor helping us bring this vision to life.”

Eclipse’s grand opening hours are Friday, Feb. 6, 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 7, noon to 10:00 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 8, noon to 10:00 p.m. For more details visit eclipsebrewingnj.com and follow them on social media: @eclipsebrewingnj on Facebook, and @eclipsebrewing on Instagram.
