Friends Of The Library Offer Something Special For Your Valentine
The Friends of the Pennsauken Free Public Library are hosting two events on Saturday, Feb. 11, where patrons can pick up something special for their Valentines.
A Valentine’s Day bake sale will be held in the lobby of the Pennsauken Free Public Library, 5605 N. Crescent Blvd., that Saturday, beginning at 11:00 a.m. until they’re sold out. This annual event features cookies, cakes, and a variety of other sweets. Volunteer bakers are always appreciated. For more details, email friendsoflibrary@yahoo.com.
From 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. that same day, the Friends will hold a Pop-Up Valentine’s Book and Media Sale in the Library’s magazine section. Shop gently used books, DVDs, and CDs at discounted rates.
Proceeds from both events help the Friends support Library programing and services.
