This morning, officials from the Camden County Department of Health will host a virtual summit for first responders tasked with potential calls related to novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The summit will focus on the actions first responders should be taking to keep themselves and others safe when responding to calls related to coronavirus.
“This is a prophylactic summit, similar to an event we held several years ago during the Ebola outbreak, to ensure that our community’s first responders are armed with the tools and information they need in the event that they are called to respond where there is a high likelihood of exposure to coronavirus,” said Freeholder Carmen Rodriguez, liaison to the Department of Health and Human Services.
Hundreds of first responders from throughout Camden County have been invited and are expected to participate in the event.
