…A big AmazonSmile, that is.
With the holiday season rushing at us with breakneck speed, no doubt many of us will be taking advantage of online shopping to beat the crowds and cut down on the hassle. So here’s a way to make those online clicks do double duty, and net the Friends of the Pennsauken Free Library .05 percent of what you’ve spent, at no cost to you!
When you’re ready to start shrinking your list and think of Amazon for some of your gift-giving needs, think of The Friends of the Pennsauken Library as well. If you already have an Amazon account, just open it and search AmazonSmile for a list of eligible charitable organizations. Browse through the list to find the Friends’ link or simply type in “Pennsauken Library” and we’ll pop up. Then go about your shopping and checkout as usual.
If you don’t already have an account yet, click onto www.smile.amazon.com to bring you to the charitable organizations, select us or type us in, and voila, you’re ready to shop, and we’re ready to reap the benefits of that shopping. Did we mention we’ll receive .05 percent of your purchase prices? No fuss, no bother for you or the Friends, just a little extra cash for our coffers. The AmazonSmile Foundation covers it all.
And if you’re concerned about privacy, and who isn’t these days, don’t worry. Amazon does not share any customer information with any of the charitable organizations on its list. You’ll remain anonymous and the Friends are simply the grateful recipients of the donation from your purchases.
