Los Parceros Steakhouse Opens In Pennsauken

By Frank Sinatra, AAP Editor

Mayor Nicole Roberts and Deputy Mayor Jessica Rafeh helped cut the ribbon to officially open Pennsauken’s latest restaurant, Los Parceros Steakhouse. Featuring a menu of traditional Colombian dishes served in a colorful and fun atmosphere, Los Parceros, located at 6524 N. Crescent Blvd., is a welcome addition to the Township’s restaurant scene.

Los Parceros Steakhouse is officially open at 6524 N. Crescent Blvd. in Pennsauken. Mayor Nicole Roberts and Deputy Mayor Jessica Rafeh were on hand for the official ribbon cutting.

“We’re originally from Colombia but have been in Pennsauken for almost 30 years,” said Robert Alzate, assistant manager and son of owner Sandra Bruce. “We wanted to bring our culture to Pennsauken Township.”

“We would like to share our flavor, not only Colombian, but across Latin America,” said Sandra. “We would like for everyone to feel like they are at home, filled with love and tradition and a family ambiance.”

As soon as you step inside the steakhouse, you’re greeted with a variety of sights and sounds. From colorful walls to plates and bowls brought in directly from Columbia, patrons of Los Parceros Steakhouse will feel like they are in a scene from “Encanto” rather than being in Pennsauken.

“This place is amazing,” said Mayor Nicole Roberts. “Los Parceros is a great new restaurant, and we’re thrilled that they opened in Pennsauken.”

“My mom, Sandra, put a lot of effort into every detail,” explained Robert. “When people walk through these doors, we want them to get away from everything and enjoy a great meal with their family.”

“There’s meaning behind every piece of décor, the decorations, every color that was picked, the choices they wanted to offer on the menu,” added Deputy Mayor Jessica Rafeh. “There’s a history behind it.”

“We strive for everyone to enjoy our food and transport them to Columbia with our traditional foods,” continued Sandra. “Everything we make is made with love.”

There is a lot of love to try on the menu. There are appetizers such as mini empanadas filled with seasoned meat and potatoes, and ropa vieja, shredded beef stewed with tomato, onions, peppers, and spices; sandwiches like an arepa burger, grilled beef served on top of a crispy cornmeal-based cake; and main dishes including bandeja parcera, a plate of ground roast beef, crispy pork rinds, and savory chorizo, served with white rice, beans, a fried egg, plantains, avocado, and a warm arepa, as well as seasoned steaks, shredded chicken, and tender, slow-cooked beef brisket. And don’t forget dessert, like smooth and creamy mousse, tres leches, and more.

“We hope that everyone comes in and enjoys,” said Alzate.

Los Parceros is open Sunday to Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., Thursday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. For more information, call (856) 324-0865 or visit “Parceros Steakhouse” on Facebook and @parcerossteakhouse on Instagram.
