In video posted to social media, Pennsauken Mayor Marco DiBattista announced that both the Township’s municipal building and court would be reopening to the public.
“Throughout the pandemic, our administration has worked tirelessly to ensure that both our staff and the public stay safe. As New Jersey continues to lift restrictions, we’re ready to do the same,” said Mayor DiBattista. “I’m excited to announce that beginning Monday, May 10, both our municipal building and the municipal court will be open to the public.”
The Township will have protocols in place to protect everyone from COVID-19:
- The municipal building and court will be at 50 percent capacity when it comes to visitor occupancy
- Visitors will have their temperature taken when they enter
- Masks and social distancing will be required
- Hand sanitizers are available for use at both buildings
Mayor DiBattista also mentioned the implementation of a technology-based option to assist with visitor check-in at the municipal building that will be announced at a later date.
“We appreciate the patience of the public throughout this entire process,” added DiBattista. “It hasn’t been easy, but together, we’ve continued to make progress in our fight against the coronavirus and are working our way back to some much-needed normalcy.”
