Obituary: David E. Richardson
David E. Richardson, affectionately known as “Big Dave,” age 60, of Berlin, NJ, formerly of Pennsauken, passed away on July 25, 2024. He was born in Atlantic City, NJ. David worked as a heavy equipment operator for Camden County Highway Department and retired in 2011. He loved cars, fishing, and off roading. David was a huge advocate for rescue dogs and adored his adopted four-legged best friends. He will be deeply missed.
David is predeceased by his son, Eric Richardson.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Janet Richardson (nee Sims); son, Brendan Stewart; parents, Eugene and Janet (nee Simone) Richardson; sister, Beth Ann Fischer (Mark); brother, Jeff Johnson; nephew, Daniel Peek; and birth mother, Dottie Johnson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A memorial service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
