The Pennsauken Police Department and Camden County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating a fatal hit-and-run motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian and a single motor vehicle.
The collision occurred on Rt. 130 Northbound near Garden Ave., at approximately 7:06 p.m. on Jan. 19. The fleeing vehicle was described as a silver, 4 door sedan, believed to be a 2004-2007 Chevrolet Malibu with front end damage. The victim, Sukhwant Singh, age 53, of Camden City, was transported to Cooper Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

This is the second fatal incident in as many days, as another hit-and-run occurred by Haddonfield Rd. on Jan. 15. Police are still investigating.
