Pennsauken To Hold Fall Festival On October 19

Pennsauken Township’s Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 19 (rain date Sunday, Oct. 20). This annual event, held from noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Pennsauken Community Recreation Complex at the corner of Bethel and Westfield avenues, brings the Township community together with fun activities.

Pennsauken’s annual Fall Festival on Oct. 19 will feature a variety of different activities for families.

“Every year, Pennsauken’s Fall Festival offers a lot of fun activities for our community,” said Pennsauken Mayor Marco DiBattista. “While this month’s Fall Festival is more scaled back than in previous years, families will still be able to enjoy a lot of the entertainment they’ve come to expect from this awesome community event.”

At the Pennsauken Fall Festival, children will be able to enjoy activities including bounce houses, a petting zoo, horse rides, balloon twisting, and face painting. Families can also take a short hayride to a “pumpkin patch,” where kids can pick out a small pumpkin to decorate (one per child). Our first responders will be out in full force at the event, putting on several demonstrations for attendees. And for those looking for some unique pics for social media, costumed characters will be walking around throughout the event.

Attendees hungry for lunch, an early dinner, or just a snack, will be able to purchase items from several food trucks that will be on site.

“We invite the entire Pennsauken community to join us for this year’s Fall Festival,” added Mayor DiBattista. “It’s going to be a great time, and we hope to see you there!”
