The hunt is on for the best Halloween decorations in town! Sponsored by Pennsauken’s Department of Parks and Recreation, the annual Halloween Home Decorating Contest will recognize those homes that go all out for the spookiest time of the year. A team of guys and ghouls will be creeping around town to locate the most impressive expressions of Halloween spirit Pennsauken has to offer.
There are three judging categories:
- All-Hallows Award (Best Traditionally Decorated Home)
- Creepy Chronicle Award (Best Overall Theme)
- Goosebumps Award (Scariest/Spookiest Home)
There will also be the “Pumpkin King” Award, given out to the best decorated home overall.
In order for decorated homes in Pennsauken to be considered for this year’s contest, addresses must be submitted using an online form on the Township’s website. New for this year, residents can share the addresses of their neighbors, family, and friends who live in town. This link can be accessed at PennsaukenEvents.com. Registration runs through Friday, Oct. 17.
