Pennsauken’s Pichardo, Wynn Make History

“Pennsauken Proud” couldn’t be more appropriate when it comes to two amazing student-athletes from Pennsauken High School. Senior Jada Pichardo and Junior Sianni Wynn have had championship seasons like no other; and their accomplishments are truly ones for the history books.

Wrestling champ Jada Pichardo had the top rank in New Jersey for her entire senior year and was 23rd in the nation. In state competitions this year, she had an undefeated season with a perfect record of 32-0. Jada also made history for Pennsauken High School, not only as the first girl to record 100 career wins in wrestling, but also as the first wrestler in Pennsauken’s history to win a State Championship, which she accomplished this year. And in addition to competing in New Jersey, Jada has wrestled internationally for the Dominican Republic, showcasing her skills and commitment to the sport on a global stage.
