Road Work On Centre Street Begins May 10

Camden County has informed Pennsauken Township administration that road work will begin on a section of Centre St. beginning on Monday, May 10.
The project focuses on asphalt resurfacing and selective concrete slab replacement, as well as updating handicap accessibility as needed. In addition, a traffic island will be constructed at the intersection of Centre and Cove Rd.
Work will begin at Centre and Cove in Pennsauken, then continue towards Locust St. in Merchantville. The estimated date of completion is slated for January 2022.
Residents and commuters who travel along this stretch of roads should anticipate delays/lane closures as the project moves forward.
