Pennsauken Township is following up August’s successful Bite Night with another food truck event on the third Thursday of September.
“Last month’s Bite Night was a well attended event, with a steady flow of residents coming out on a warm August evening to enjoy a variety of food trucks,” says Pennsauken Mayor John Kneib. “This month’s event will have even more food trucks in attendance for another great evening.”
Pennsauken’s Bite Night will be held on Thursday, Sept. 15 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Pennsauken Township Municipal Complex, 5605 N. Crescent Blvd. This month’s event will feature more mobile food purveyors, including Braz-b-q, Cooper River Lunch and Munch, “Lil” Trents Grille, Mannino’s Cannoli Express, and Not Your Mama’s Tacos, all of which are making a return appearance from last month.
“We’re extremely excited to start what we think will be a great new Pennsauken tradition,” says Pennsauken Mayor John Kneib. “Food truck festivals are growing in popularity; and our municipal complex is the perfect place for the Pennsauken community to come together and enjoy a wide variety of tasty options for a quick snack or an alternative to cooking dinner.”
Once again, players of Pokémon Go have an additional reason to attend Bite Night. Lures will be dropped at both of the Municipal Complex’s “Pokestops” to lure Pokémon to the area during the entirety of both events.
“We invite our residents, as well as members from our neighboring communities, to join us for Bite Night,” adds Kneib. “You won’t want to miss it.”
