Saying Goodbye To A Very Lucky And Loving Cat

I’m sitting in my office, dead silence in this part of my apartment, except for the tapping of the keys on my computer. My thoughts are all over the place, but thanks to editing and the backspace tab, I hope to eventually make this month’s column worth the reading for you.

For the first time in my entire life, I now come home each day to an emptiness that I’m not so sure I’ll ever get used to.

There is a $25 rehoming fee to weed out those who use cats for bait, and we’re also checking vet references. If interested, please send an email to 18deborah_grandinetti@comcast.net and please include your vet’s name and phone number, or the name of your parents and the family vet if your family had pets and you’re now living on your own and have the income to afford vet care.

The foster parent, Luisa, who lives in Pennsauken, says the litter box-trained kittens, who will be six months old this month, are very friendly and “love to snuggle up on you!

Please be a bit patient if you don’t hear back immediately because the foster family works full-time.
