Pennsauken Celebrates Fall With Car And Bike Show, Harvest Festival

Fall is in the air, and with it two annual Pennsauken events are right around the corner: the 23rd annual Car, Bike and Craft Show, and the second annual Harvest Festival.

First-Ever Mutt Strutt Held On May 17

The first-ever Mutt Strutt will be held on Sunday, May 17 from 1 to 5 p.m. along Centre St. and Chestnut Ave. in Merchantville.

A day of fun for the whole family, the Mutt Strutt features a doggie parade and costume contest, food and music, vendors, pet adoptions, kid and pet activities, and more. In addition, Pennsauken Township’s Clerk Office will be on hand to register dogs throughout the event.

Proceeds benefit Almost Home Animal Shelter and Camden County Shelters.

Little Angels Story Book Fun Fair Held On April 25

Put a big red circle on your calendars for Saturday, April 25! That very special day marks the annual Story Book Fun Fair at St. Cecilia’s Little Angels Day Care and Pre-School. This is the day care’s largest happening of the year, as it celebrates the culmination of the “Month of the Young Child.”

Every so often an opportunity comes along to fill this space with blatantly self serving advertising. This is one of those times.

The Harvest Festival, held on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 12 to 4 p.m., is being held at the new sports complex off of Westfield Ave., behind the MPWC offices, across the street from B. Tait’s shiny new construction company, otherwise known as the former Carlin’s Market for you old timers.
