Charges Filed In January 15 Hit-And-Run
The Pennsauken Police Department and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office have announced charges against an individual involved in a fatal hit-and-run motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian and a single motor vehicle.
The collision occurred in the 8200 block of Marion Ave. on January 15, 2022 in the early morning hours. The victim, Louis Mateo, age 39, of Pennsauken, was struck by a vehicle and left at the scene. The driver of the striking vehicle was found to have fled.
Investigation by the Pennsauken Police Traffic Division, led to the vehicle and the driver being identified. The driver, Jaydon Marson-Francis, age 23, of Corbett Rd. in Pennsauken, was charged accordingly. He turned himself into the Pennsauken Police Department and was processed.
Marson-Francis is considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
Police Seek Public’s Help In Hit And Run
The Pennsauken Township Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle involved in a fatal pedestrian hit and run.
The hit and run occurred this morning, January 15, 2022, at approximately 1:00 a.m., near the intersection of Haddonfield Rd. and Marion Ave.

Pennsauken Police Investigating Fatal Hit And Run

In a message shared via social media, the Pennsauken Township Police Department enlisted the help of the community to find a hit and run driver that killed a pedestrian in the early morning hours of Oct. 19.
“The Pennsauken Township Police Department and the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating a fatal hit-and-run motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian and a single motor vehicle,” wrote Pennsauken Police via an online statement.
At 12:06 a.m. this morning, a vehicle described as a silver color SUV, believed to be a Mercedes-Benz between the model years of 2002 and 2005, collided with a pedestrian on the southbound side of Rt. 130 at the Drexel Ave. intersection. The victim, currently only identified as a 32-year-old male, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle experienced heavy front-end damage and fled the scene of the accident.
