Food Distribution Event On November 5 At PHS

Pennsauken Public Schools will hold a food distribution event on Saturday, Nov. 5, at Pennsauken High School, 800 Hylton Rd., from 9:00 a.m. until the food runs out.

These food distribution events are held on the first Saturday of every month at the front of the building. Participants are asked to bring their I.D., as well as their own bags.

Pennsauken’s Haunted Hayride On October 26

Pennsauken Township’s annual Haunted Hayride will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 6:15 to 9:15 p.m. at the Pennsauken Country Club, 3800 Haddonfield Rd.

This annual event, held from noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Pennsauken Community Recreation Complex on Westfield Ave., brings the Township community together with a family-friendly atmosphere.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Pennsauken Police department are investigating the shooting of a 17-year-old male in the 7500 block of Maple Avenue in Pennsauken on Saturday, October 8, 2022, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Pennsauken Acting Police Chief Phillip Olivo.

Makers of “America’s Favorite Sponge” and one of the most successful companies on the popular TV show “Shark Tank,” Scrub Daddy relocated its global headquarters to Pennsauken. Prior to the move, the company operated out of three separate buildings.

Lions Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser On October 2

The Pennsauken Lions Club will hold their annual Ned Davis Memorial Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, Oct. 2, at Temple Lutheran Church Rt. 130 and Merchantville Ave., Pennsauken, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost is $10 per person.
