The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Pennsauken Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual who was the victim of a shooting that occurred on May 3, 2019, at approximately 5:18 a.m. at the corner of Pleasant Avenue and 49th St. in Pennsauken.

Residents Save On Electric Bills Through Energy Aggregation Program

In 2016, residents of Pennsauken enjoyed electric rates lower than that of Public Service Electric & Gas (PSE&G), thanks to a cost-saving energy aggregation program put in place by the Township. When that program ended in 2017, the Township continued to look for an opportunity to restart the popular initiative. With the help of Concord Energy Services of Voorhees, N.J., the Pennsauken Township Energy Aggregation Program will start up again beginning in July.

Pennsauken High School’s National Honor Society and Leo Club are hosting a special event this Saturday, April 13, 10:00 a.m. to noon, at the Pennsauken Free Public Library, to help promote reading. Children who attend will receive a free book.

Black And Minority Owned Business Expo On April 6

The Economic Development Committee of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., South Jersey Alumnae Chapter is hosting a Black and Minority Owned Business Expo on Saturday, April 6. Held at Pennsauken High School, 800 Hylton Rd., from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the event, which is free and open to the public, highlights a variety of local black and minority owned businesses, including doctors, attorneys, and retail sellers of clothing, crafts, jewelry, Greek apparel, and more.
