An annual rite for Pennsauken’s municipal government, the Township once again held its reorganization meeting on Jan. 4, swearing in its newly-elected officers and selecting the organization’s leadership for 2017.

As we usher in a New Year, the Pennsauken Board of Education will start 2017 with its annual reorganization meeting. The purpose of the reorganization meeting is to certify and accept the November election results, officially install those individuals who were successfully elected in November and to appoint the Board of Education’s President and Vice president for the upcoming year. For districts that hold their elections in November, this special meeting must, by law, occur during the first week of January.

The Pennsauken Township Committee will hold its annual reorganization meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4 at the Pennsauken Country Club on Haddonfield Rd.
