Eligibility Expands At Camden County Vaccination Site

Beginning today, Monday, April 19, the state of New Jersey has expanded the population eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine to all adult residents. Anyone who has not scheduled their vaccine appointment at the Camden County Vaccination Center in Blackwood is encouraged to do so as soon as possible. Thousands of new appointment slots will be made available this week for the expansion of eligibility.

Many Pennsauken residents – particularly seniors – have expressed concern about their ability to schedule an appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, as they can’t go online to do so. Pennsauken Township Committee and the town’s municipal staff have arranged to have vaccinations right here in Pennsauken to serve those without access to computers or the internet.

Residents At Pennsauken Senior Residence Receive COVID-19 Vaccine

More than 40 seniors at Lutheran Senior Residence at Pennsauken, an affordable senior housing property, received their first COVID-19 vaccination last week. The Pennsauken site is one of seven affordable senior housing properties owned by Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey (LSMNJ) to offer the vaccine to its residents by partnering with Walgreens and CVS.
