Earlier today, Pennsauken Township has announced that because of the inclement weather, there will be a delay in Tuesday’s recycling collection.
“Our Public Works Department has been informed that the plant that accepts our town’s recycling has shut down due to the winter storm,” said Pennsauken Mayor Marco DiBattista in a phone message that went out to residents. “If today is your day for recycling collection and it has not yet been picked up, please leave your recycling buckets at the curb. They will be collected tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb. 3.”

The Township’s Department of Public Works posted via social media that trash collection on Wednesday, Feb. 3, is not affected by this change. In addition, Wednesday’s yard waste and white goods pick up, as well as Thursday and Friday’s trash and recycling pick up, will occur as normal.
