Township Committee Reorganization Public Meeting Held On January 4
The Pennsauken Township Committee will hold its annual reorganization meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4 at the Pennsauken Country Club on Haddonfield Rd.
The agenda includes the swearing in of a new mayor, deputy mayor, and committee members, as well as appointments to various positions, including the Township’s new administrator. The new committee will then set the 2017 meeting dates for the local governing body.
All future public meetings, excluding the Reorganization Meeting, are held at the Pennsauken Municipal Building, 5605 N. Crescent Blvd., at the corner of Route 130 and Merchantville Ave. at the times specified.

Changes to the meeting schedule will be advertised in the Courier-Post and Retrospect newspapers and will be posted online via the Township’s web site, Facebook page and Twitter feed.
School Board Holds Reorganization Meeting On January 5
The Pennsauken Township Board of Education will be holding its reorganization meeting on Thursday, Jan. 5, 7:00 p.m. in Room 327 of Pennsauken High School, 800 Hylton Rd., Pennsauken.
The agenda includes the swearing in of three board members who were elected to three-year terms: Nick Perry, Jennifer Slattery, and Joann Young; as well as the appointment of both this year’s board president and vice president. In addition, the new board will set the 2017 meeting dates for the Pennsauken Township Board of Education.
All work sessions for the Board of Education are held at the Pennsauken Board of Education Administration Building, 1695 Hylton Rd., Pennsauken; business meetings are held in Room 327 of Pennsauken High School, 800 Hylton Rd., Pennsauken. All meetings will be at the times specified during the reorganization meeting. The 2017 meeting schedule will be located at Pennsauken.net, as well as in the Board of Education’s papers of record, the Courier-Post and Central Record. Information about these meetings will also be published monthly in All Around Pennsauken in the InSchools section.
