Plethora Of Ongoing Live Shows, Trivia, Giveaways On Show Stages Provide Wizard World Fans With Non-Stop Entertainment All Weekend Long

From magicians to tap dancers, martial arts demos, music and personality Kato Kaelin to a varied lineup of singers, songwriters, bands, dueling pianos and other options, Wizard World (OTCBB: WIZD) today announced the highlights of its new non-stop entertainment lineup at Wizard World Comic Con Philadelphia, June 1-4 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The initiative, designed to keep the show floor buzzing throughout the weekend, will feature national and local acts of all kinds, allowing fans to enjoy more of the best of pop culture during the event and into the evenings. Nearly all of the entertainment is included free with any admission to the show.

The Pennsauken School District will be hosting a year-end Family Fun Fair on Sunday, June 4, 2017, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at its Park Avenue Campus.

Pennsauken’s Historic Homes Hold Open Houses On June 4

On Sunday, June 4, both the Burrough-Dover House, located at 9201 Burrough Dover Ln., right off of Haddonfield Rd.; and the Griffith Morgan House, off River Rd. at 243 Griffith Morgan Ln. will be open to the public from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Special Presentation For Parents Of Disabled Children Held On June 8

Pennsauken’s Crescent Hill Academy, located at 7512 N. Crescent Blvd., will be hosting a free presentation for parents of disabled children on Thursday, June 8 at 6:30 p.m.

Representatives from the Law Firm of Hinkle, Fingles, Prior & Fischer will discuss several important issues, including:

  • How to secure housing and residential support
  • Funding and support services
  • Guardianship
  • Children transitioning from school to adult life
  • Understanding and accessing the adult service system

By attending this free event, parents of disabled children will learn the options available to them concerning these matters.

PSE&G To Begin Roadway Restoration In Pennsauken Township

Camden County Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo has been notified that Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) has finished upgrading a portion of its aging gas lines in Pennsauken Township. Now that the ground has settled, crews will be paving roads from May 25 through June 2, weather permitting.

Police will be directing traffic around work areas, and residents will be able to drive on the roads once paving is complete. Homeowners will have access to their driveways at all times.

Chuck Norris To Attend Wizard World Comic Con Philadelphia, June 3

Chuck Norris, star of 24 motion pictures such as Delta Force, Code of Silence, Missing in Action and Expendables 2 and the long-running television series “Walker, Texas Ranger,” will make his Wizard World debut next week when he attends Wizard World Comic Con Philadelphia on Saturday, June 3 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Center City Philadelphia. The internationally famous Norris is also a renowned teacher of martial arts, incorporated into many of his roles.

Norris will greet fans, sign autographs, pose for photo ops and conduct an interactive fan Q&A during his Wizard World Comic Con Philadelphia appearance.
