Cramer Hill Nature Preserve Cleanup On May 5

The Stewards of Open Space Camden County are hosting a community cleanup at the CCMUA Cramer Hill Nature Preserve and 36 St. in North Camden, Saturday, May 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Volunteers are asked to meet at 36th St. and Farragut Ave. Gloves, bags, and pickers will be provided. Volunteer Firefighters Needed In Pennsauken

Experienced and non-experienced volunteers are encouraged to apply to become a member of the Pennsauken Fire Department. Open to residents and non-residents that are interested in the public service. Uniforms, training, meals, fraternity and many other benefits are provided to members in our Volunteer Staffed Company program.

“Grow Your Business” Seminar Held At Post Office On May 4

The United States Postal Service is hosting a special “Grow Your Business” Seminar on Friday, May 4, in the Merchantville Post Office Lobby, 22 W. Maple Ave.

Learn about new ways the U.S. Postal Service can help promote businesses with mail, including Every Door direct mail service, commercial base pricing for parcels, and regional rate low-cost shipping options.

The seminar runs from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and is free to attend.

Pennsauken Resident Missing

UPDATE: It’s been confirmed that David has been located in North Carolina. His family and friends thank all those who helped spread the word via social media.

A picture of a Pennsauken resident gone missing has been making the rounds via social media.

David Leonard has not been seen or heard from since Saturday, April 28. He has not been responding to his phone or text messages from family, friends, or co-workers.

David is a type 1 insulin-dependent diabetic. He drives a silver Honda Accord with N.J. license plate M59 JSA.

Any information regarding Leonard’s whereabouts can be directed to the Pennsauken Police Department, (856) 488-0080. Individuals with knowledge of David’s location can also submit an anonymous tip online.
