Pennsauken School District Tests Gym Mats For Mercury, Levels Well Within Safe Limits

Earlier today, the Pennsauken School District sent students home with a letter stating the rubberized gym mats in several schools were proactively tested to identify if they had unsafe levels of Mercury.

A must-attend event to help everyone enter into the holiday spirit will be our accordion concert, compliments of the Westmont Accordion Club, on Thursday, Dec. 13, 7:00 p.m., in the Library’s Community Room. The ensemble is comprised of a dozen amateur musicians passionate about the accordion. They’ll play a variety of holiday selections, as well as Broadway show tunes and a few sing-a-longs.
