Heat Advisory Issued In Camden County Today And Tomorrow
The Office of the Camden County Health Officer has issued a Heat Advisory for Camden County beginning today, June 28, effective from noon until 7 p.m., the advisory will remain in effect during the same period tomorrow, June 29. During a Heat Advisory, the combination of hot temperatures and high humidity will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible.
Pennsauken EMT In Need Of A Kidney Transplant

Juan Vazquez, an EMT for Pennsauken EMS, has lived in town for almost two decades. A member of Pennsauken High School’s Class of 2004, he married his high school sweetheart, Kelly, and has two boys, ages 10 and 1.
He’s also in need of a kidney transplant.
Chestnut Avenue In Pennsauken To Close For Storm Sewer Replacement
Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, has been notified by Pennsauken Township that crews will be replacing a storm sewer on Chestnut Avenue at West Hollywood Circle in Pennsauken beginning Wednesday, June 26. The project will require the full closure of the roadway during work hours.

Mosquito Spraying In Pennsauken And Merchantville Rescheduled
Due to inclement weather, mosquito sprayings scheduled for this week have been postponed and rescheduled. The Mosquito Control Commission will be in the community spraying and surveilling areas throughout Camden County, including Pennsauken and Merchantville. During the summer and fall months the commission schedules on an as-needed basis based upon the results of their surveillance efforts and input from the public.
Farmer And Food Market Canceled For June 18
Because of the rain forecast for later this afternoon, the Pennsauken Farmer and Food Market scheduled for Tuesday, June 18, has been canceled. The next Market will be held on Tuesday, July 2, weather permitting.
Pennsauken Resident Strives To Be Miss New Jersey USA

Ever since she was little, Felisha Nation has had aspirations of competing in the Miss New Jersey USA pageant. In fact, the 21 year old has been selected from hundreds of applicants as a state finalist for the competition, held in Atlantic City this November. But in order to make her dream happen, the Pennsauken resident needs some help.
