The new kid on the block is a superbly “renewed” kid on the block.

Welcome one and all to the “new” Penn Queen Diner, now under the management of owners, Brad and Kim Horwitz. Brad and Kim hit the ground running with the best of both worlds: new ways of giving the finest and most enjoyable of diner experiences to their patrons, while retaining the very best from decades of proven excellence by chefs, wait staff, and welcoming hosts, plus, additional quality-service personnel recently welcomed into the new Penn Queen staff family. And you will feel welcome there, too!

For starters, with over four dozen different breakfasts to choose from, you will find whatever pleases your palette, from familiar full breakfast favorites – the main staple of all diners – to newer, updated additions, all that will have you coming back for more on a regular basis.

From 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily, try the newest Petite Specials that have been introduced to an already popular list of smaller meals; and the prices and selections for the Penn Queen’s every day lunch specials, which run from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., are certain to be crowd pleasers.

Desserts will surely not only be enjoyed after your meal, because you’ll definitely want to be taking some home with you to share. Yes, they are that good!

Then, tack on to all that, a new, stunning, 85″ television screen has just been added to the comfortable bar area in the back of the dining room. Check out the updated tavern menu there to find sliders, chicken wings, steak fries, and a host of America’s most popular of finger foods for all to delight in, either in that special bar area, or throughout the rest of the Penn Queen.

Along with the pluses all diners strive to attain, owners Brad and Kim are also going the extra mile by creating community experiences, and giving back to our Pennsauken area. Please call and talk to Kim about your charity event. Special breakfasts, lunches, or dinners will be available for your sports teams, Scouting organizations, Friends of the Pennsauken Library, Women’s Clubs, business luncheons, etc., along with those extra special celebrations, like birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and retirement parties.

And now, Penn Queen can take care of all the particulars for your own special day: balloons, flowers, decorations, and a totally delicious cake baked and personalized especially for your occasion, right there on the premises.

To celebrate the holidays at the Penn Queen Diner, there will be a very special visit from Santa Claus this month! Santa will be at the Penn Queen on Saturday, Dec. 14, as well as Saturday, Dec. 21, from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Photo opportunities for your child, or grandchildren, or you, will be available all throughout Santa’s visit.

So welcome back home to the Penn Queen Diner: rich in tradition, history, and a Pennsauken presence for over 55 years, now magnificently kicked up several notches by Kim and Brad Horwitz, who welcome one and all with hospitality personified, a thoroughly enjoyable atmosphere, and truly great food, that will keep you coming back again, again, and again.
